About The Clay, Parker and Clink Families

The CLAY FAMILY
 The first Clays came to the United States before 1777 when Henry Clay was born  in Hanover, VA to John and Elizabeth Clay. They came from Germany by way of  England. They had nine children, one of them was the father of John Clay b.  1810 in Pennsylvania, these are his descendants.

The PARKER FAMILY
 John and Mary Parker had 12 children. Their sons Hiram and Elias came to  Kosciusko Co., Indiana between 1845 and 1850 from Columbia Co.,PA. These are  the descendants of Hiram Parker and Sarah Lemons.

The CLINK (KLINK) FAMILY
 Christian Klink I was born in Wurtenberg, Germany and came to the United  States about 1817. He had married Catherine Granmiller in Germany and most of  their children were born there. Eventually they settled in Seneca County Ohio.  He died before March 13, 1839. There were ten children. The spelling of the  name in Germany would be Klink (or perhaps Klinck). In this country both K and  C are used. Charles and all of his descendants have adopted the spelling Clink.

Getting Around
There are several ways to browse the family tree. The Tree View graphically shows the relationship of selected person to their kin. The Family View shows the person you have selected in the center, with his/her photo on the left and notes on the right. Above are the father and mother and below are the children. The Ancestor Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph above and children below. On the right are the parents, grandparents and great-grandparents. The Descendant Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph and parents below. On the right are the children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Do you know who your second cousins are? Try the Kinship Relationships Tool. Your site can generate various Reports for each name in your family tree. You can select a name from the list on the top-right menu bar.

In addition to the charts and reports you have Photo Albums, the Events list and the Relationships tool. Family photographs are organized in the Photo Index. Each Album's photographs are accompanied by a caption. To enlarge a photograph just click on it. Keep up with the family birthdays and anniversaries in the Events list.
